Universities in the USA typically offer three intakes: Fall, Spring, and Summer. Fall, as is the case elsewhere in the world, is the biggest and most popular intake. It sees the greatest number of universities offer the greatest number of seats for its programs. For students who miss the Fall intake, the Spring intake is the second-largest intake option and a good alternative to kickstart your degree without waiting a full year.
August/September | Autumn/Fall Intake | Biggest intake of the year:Most number of universities offering the most seats for their programs |
January | Spring Intake | Second biggest intake of the year:Best option for those who miss the Autumn intake |
May | Summer Intake | Fewer universities offer fewer programs during this intake –the ideal time to enroll in short courses and summer programs |
