There is no maximum age limit to apply for a Student Visa in Australia. However, the Department of Home Affairs will factor in your age to determine, whether you are considered a genuine student.   • First requirement will be getting a Confirmation of Enrollment (COE) from your university
  • Enrollment in the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is a must.
  • An adequate score of English Language Proficiency (ELP) Test.
  • You will have to meet the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) criteria.
  • If the above necessities are fulfilled for the visa and the required documents are submitted then there is usually a high visa success rate.
