Student Visa

Indian students need the D visa to study in Ireland. This visa lasts more than 90 days.

Depending on the applicant and course, the application may require:

• Valid passport and previous passports.
• Completed online visa application with summary.
• Letter of acceptance from an eligible Irish education provider.
• Evidence of payments.
• All academic papers.
• Your IELTS or TOEFL test results.
• Evidence of sufficient balance.
• Medical insurance.
• Explanation of study plans, etc.

Application process for an Ireland student visa

1. Get accepted into a full-time course at an Irish university.
2. Pay your total fee if it’s below €6000. In case of a higher fee, pay at least €6000 or as much as required by your university.
3. Collect your passport, letter of acceptance from your university, grade sheets, proof of funds, and insurance papers.
4. Submit an online visa application and upload your collected documents.
5. Visit the office for fingerprinting or submission of your documents.
6. Await the decision on your visa application.
7. Enter Ireland, arrange your accommodation, and do your Stamp 2 registration.
